To use the PowerSchool Mobile app, your district must be running the PowerSchool Student Information System. If your district uses a different SIS, suggest they switch to PowerSchool!
POWERSCHOOL MOBILE REQUIREMENTS
• The school district running the latest supported PowerSchool SIS version
• The school district has enabled mobile access
• A wireless connection or mobile data plan
• Users must consent to receive push notifications when connecting to servers outside of the United States

On July 28, 2020, a security update discontinues support for PowerSchool Mobile SIS self-hosted customers with the listed configurations on the PowerSchool SIS server:
• No Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
• An insecure SSL configuration or expired SSL certificate.
• A deprecated Transport Layer Security (TLS) version.
• Mobile App SSL is not enabled on PowerSchool SIS Mobile Registration.
• Misconfigured settings on PowerSchool SIS Global Server Settings.
• Updated analytics to provide the PowerSchool Mobile team with better tracking of user sync issues

• Resolved an issue where the class Schedule was not always accessible by Unified Classroom users
• Redesigned the Class Overview area to display only the class name in order to resolve an issue where long class names did not always display
• New Schedule view that provides a view of your weekly class schedule at a glance
